How does the Hera Medium Finnish sauna work?
The tradition of the sauna dates back over 1,000 years and originates from the Nordic countries. The very first saunas appeared in Finland, where they were used in medicine to improve blood circulation, relieve respiratory passages, and soothe muscle pain. In fact, regular sauna sessions can bring numerous benefits, such as strengthening your immune system, improving cardiovascular function, and alleviating soreness.
Dry heat makes you sweat intensely, which helps eliminate toxins from your body through perspiration. Pouring a bit of water on the hot volcanic stones generates steam that opens your pores and deeply purifies your skin. You can take a cold shower after your sauna session to tone your skin.
Cold water also stimulates blood circulation.
Specifications of the Hera Medium steam sauna
The Hera Medium steam sauna measures 195 x 159 x 204 cm and features wide benches that can comfortably seat up to 3 people. Assembly is relatively easy and quick thanks to its modular design.
The cabin is equipped with an electric stove that quickly heats up the space. Simply switch on the stove using the control panel and wait for the heat to spread evenly throughout the sauna. Then, just sit back and enjoy the relaxation.
A state-of-the-art wellness control panel
All our Finnish saunas come with a Balboa touchscreen control panel. This next-generation panel allows you to perform basic functions such as adjusting the temperature, setting the session duration, and controlling the cabin’s light spots.
But it also offers advanced features. You can control the intensity of the LED lighting to create a more soothing ambiance. The Bluetooth feature lets you take calls directly on the sauna screen, and its built-in USB port allows you to play videos or music of your choice to enhance your therapeutic session.
